The Center for Comparative Linguistics and Cognitivism of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures launches the CELINE Neurocognitive Linguistics Neurocognitive Circle, addressed to students, master and doctoral students as well as to teachers interested in neurolinguistics: how language is studied in neuroscience and what are the main discoveries that have been made so far.

You are warmly invited to the 13th meeting of the Neurocognitive Linguistics Circle (CELINE), which will take place on Thursday, October 30, at 12:00 p.m. (Salisbury time).

Our special guest this time is Diana Schultz, Ed. D., Reading Specialist at Delmar Elementary School, Maryland, and Adjunct Professor at Salisbury University. She will present the results of her doctoral research focused on the early development of reading skills.
Title of the presentation: Understanding the Early Literacy Development of Primary RTI Students through the Application of Miscue Analysis.

The talk will be introduced by Prof. Koomi Kim, Ph. D., from Salisbury University, an expert in Eye Movement Miscue Analysis, who will outline the theoretical and methodological framework of Dr. Schultz’s research.
