From May 29 to June 2, 2023, the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of Bucharest, will host the CIVIS-KF e-School Consortium Summer School.
The CIVIS-KF e-School Consortium is an association of five European Korean Studies Departments to provide mutual online learning opportunities. The main goal is to diversify teaching and increase in-depth exchange between students and researchers of European Korean studies.

- Stockholm University (Sweden)
- Bucharest University (Romania)– host of 2023 Graduate Summer School of the CIVIS-KF e-School Consortium
The Graduate Summer School includes lectures by Korean and European professors and researchers in Korean Studies, and presentations of master thesis and dissertation topics by students from the participating universities of the CIVIS-KF e-School Consortium.
It offers the participants a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with other European Korean Studies students and receive feedback from renowned professors and researchers from various research fields.
The Program of Korean Language and Literature at the University of Bucharest is organizing this year’s event, with generous financial support form the Korea Foundation and Tübingen University.
