A XVIa întâlnire a Cercului de Lingvistică Neurocognitivă CELINE

The Center for Comparative Linguistics and Cognitivism of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures launches the CELINE Neurocognitive Linguistics Neurocognitive Circle, addressed to students, master and doctoral students as well as to teachers interested in neurolinguistics: how language is studied in neuroscience and what are the main discoveries that have been made so far.

We would like to invite you to the 16th edition of The Neurocognitive Linguistics Circle – CELINE 16.

CELINE is organized by the Center for Comparative Linguistics and Cognitivism within the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at The University of Bucharest. It is addressed to students, MA and PhD candidates, as well as to professors and researchers interested in the study of human language from a neurocognitive perspective.

The neurocognitive approach primarily involves the use of the theoretical framework of Neurocognitive Linguistics, especially the Relational Network Theory, but it can also incorporate alternative theoretical perspectives, provided they are coherent from a neuroscientific standpoint.

The 16th edition features Prof. Gisela Müller from the National University of Cuyo, Argentina, as its special guest. She will deliver the lecture entitled Semantic-structural assembly and sequence management. Cognitive Grammar in dialogue with Relational Network Theory.

The meeting will be held on Friday, March 27, at 4:00 pm UTC (6:00 pm in Romania / 1:00 pm Argentina), via the Zoom platform. The connection details are provided below:
